  • How are the storks / signs installed?

Our baby announcement signs use two lawn friendly garden stakes each. They can be placed in your lawn, a garden bed, mulched area, even the backyard if you'd prefer!

  • Who installs the baby announcement sign?

We do! The Sacramento Stork Signs team provides FREE Delivery + Install + End of Rental Pickup. So there's no responsibility on the mom or you!

  • Will the stork signs hold up to bad weather?

Yes! The stork signs are made out of wood and will hold up to rain, wind and inclemnet weather. Our stake system really keeps the storks in place, but if one were to have a fall for some reason, just give us a text and we'll come out to fix it!

Are you gifting a stork sign? Do you want it to be a secret?

Awesome! We love helping with surprises! Please leave a note that this is a surprise when Selecting Your Rental Dates and we'll try to find a time for sign installation when mom-to-be isn't home ;)

History of Stork Signs

Ancient peoples observed storks leaving at the end of summer and returning at the beginning of spring, a time of fertility and new life. There are Slavic, German, and even Egyptian myths associating storks with the delivery of babies. Isis, the Egyptian goddesses of fertility and motherhood was often depicted with a stork. Now we have the modern continuation of ancient myth in the form of stork signs to celebrate the arrival of a childs birth!
